TSPSC exam all set to be foolproof
The candidates who are appearing for the Telangana State Public Service Commission’s (TSPSC) recruitment exam for the post of managers (Engineering) in HMWS&SB department will be given carbonless copy of the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet.

Hyderabad: The candidates who are appearing for the Telangana State Public Service Commission’s (TSPSC) recruitment exam for the post of managers (Engineering) in HMWS&SB department will be given carbonless copy of the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet.
In order to enhance the transparency, the commission has introduced the OMR answer sheet with carbonless copy. According to the commission, the candidates would be permitted to take carbonless copy of the OMR sheet along with them after the completion of exam.
Besides, the commission has introduced biometric system as a security measure to avoid impersonation. The left thumb impression of the candidates appearing will be taken before the examination.
If candidates are found to use unfair means, resorts to malpractice or impersonation, the commission would invoke necessary penal provisions under Act 25/97 and such candidates would be blacklisted and debarred from appearing any exam not just of commission but also UPSC or other State Public Service Commissions, the commission said.
As many as 86,519 candidates registered for the examination and of the total registered, 45,730 candidates alone are from Hyderabad. For smooth conduct of exam, the commission has arranged 132 examination centres including 58 in Hyderabad, 13 in Nizamabad, 19 in Karimnagar, 20 in Warangal and 22 in Khamamam districts.
The commission has made hall tickets available on its website. The candidates can download hall tickets from the website www.tspsc.gov.in and appear for the examination scheduled on November 1.
The candidates would be allowed into the examination centre from 8.30 am to 9.30 am for morning session and from 1.15 pm to 2:15 pm for afternoon session to enable the candidates to complete the biometric verification and other formalities.
