Hyderabad: In a dramatic development, the former Congress MP Sircilla Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi and son Anil have been sent to 14 days of remand by Warangal court late on Thursday night.
The police, who had taken Rajaiah and his family into custody on Wednesday, after the mysterious death of his daughter-in-law Sarika and her three children quizzed throughout the day on Thursday.
Later, they were taken to MGM hospital for medical checkup and were presented before the magistrate who sent them for 14-day remand upto November 19. They have been booked under 498-A, 176 and 304 sections of CrPC.
