A nine-year-old Gandi Rakesh from Thorrur village of Warangal district has met the man he wanted to meet - Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The physically challenged boy, who cannot speak, is also facing his eye sight problem due to medical reason.

Hyderabad: A nine-year-old Gandi Rakesh from Thorrur village of Warangal district has met the man he wanted to meet - Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The physically challenged boy, who cannot speak, is also facing his eye sight problem due to medical reason.


Rakesh has been listening to the speeches of the Chief Minister for quite some time, and collecting the news clippings and photographs of the KCR published in various newspapers.

The boy also draws the pictures of the Telangana Chief Minister. The boy wanted to meet and see KCR before his eye sight gets further deteriorated and perhaps may go blind.

When the story of the boy has been narrated to the State Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy. The Minister, in turn, conveyed the boy’s wish to the Chief Minister. Chandrashekar Rao has invited the boy to his camp office.

The Chief Minister inquired about the health of Rakesh and promised him to provide all necessary help. Elated over the meeting, Rakesh has presented the sketches of KCR he made to the Chief Minister.
