Mahbubnagar: More than 100 pharmacy students staged a dharna on Monday demanding immediate recognition of their courses by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The agitating students also sought the authorities to provide required facilities and appoint regular faculty.

Talking to The Hans India, Chandu, an M Pharmacy student said, “It’s been two batches gone out till now, eight years have gone past, neither the State government nor the university authorities have bothered to look in to our problems. We are all on roads today, as our degrees are not recognised by the PCI. We want to intensify our agitation and planning to conduct a rasta roko tomorrow.”
