‘Development is my main agenda,’ claimed BJP-TDP nominee for Warangal parliament by-election Dr P Devaiah. ‘I will deliver what I promise.
Warangal: ‘Development is my main agenda,’ claimed BJP-TDP nominee for Warangal parliament by-election Dr P Devaiah. ‘I will deliver what I promise. I don’t believe in spoon feeding and I will make the people self-reliant. I did this in the US my training numerous people and providing employment,’ he said in an interview to The Hans India.
Explaining his purpose of entering into politics, he said with an NGO he has been helping a hundreds of poor students to go for higher studies like MBBS and to succeed in their lives. ‘As I came from a poor dalit family I felt that I shall help thousands and lacks of talented and common people. If I elected as MP it will help me greatly to reach out to the needy people,’ he pointed out.
Devaiah said he got inspired by BR Ambedkar, Martin Luther King and others during his student days and now impressed with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developmental and welfare initiatives. Modi asked me to contest in the by-election, hence I am fighting the election, he noted.
