Price list should be displayed at stalls

Speaking at consumers’ awareness programme on TRSRTC and its rules, organised by District Consumers’ Coordination Committee here on Monday, the Additional Joint Collector said that they were receiving complaints about charging high rates at the stalls in the bus stands. He directed the RTC Depot Managers to take steps to ensure that the items at the stalls would be sold at MRP only.
He informed that a meeting would be held soon with RTC Regional Manager, Managers of seven depots and Road Transport Officers to discuss the steps to provide facilities to the passengers.
District Consumers Association president Amjad Ali urged the RTC to provide drinking water facility at all the bus stands in the district. In addition to this, a price list should be displayed at the stalls, which were in the premises of the bus stands.
