Hyderabad: Union minister for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya on Saturday strongly condemned the attitude of Congress in the Parliament and outside over the issue of National Herald case.

Addressing a press conference here, Dattatreya said the Congress has created ruckus in Parliament instead of taking initiatives to discuss on various public issues. When the Parliament wanted to debate on the issues like problems of farmers, drought, and floods, the Congress members obstructed the proceedings in a bid to save their president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi.

Dattatreya alleged that real estate business was being run in the name of National Herald which closed down its publications long back.

“They are making it an issue to gain political mileage,” the Union Minister said. Dattatreya said though the government has nothing to do with the court case, the Congress members obstructed the proceedings of the Parliament.
