Hyderabad: US-based Telugu NRI Babu Rao Mandava (80) passed away in New York on December 30. He is survived by wife and five children. Rao belongs to Muvva village in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh.
Babu, moved to America in 1964, and was the founder of Indotronix International Corporation (IIC), an IT company headquartered in Poughkeepsie, New York, is one of the largest private employers in Dutchess County. He was also a philanthropist who donated for the Hindu Samaj Temple and numerous other charities in Dutchess County.
