Gunashekar to direct Prataparudra The Last Emperor
Film director Gunashekar informed that he is going to direct a film titled Prataparudra The Last Emperor in the backdrop of Kakatiya kingdom history.
Warangal: Film director Gunashekar informed that he is going to direct a film titled ‘Prataparudra-The Last Emperor’ in the backdrop of Kakatiya kingdom history.
He said the film Rudramadevi, which he directed has brought world-wide recognition to Warangal while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Telangana Short Film Festival at Kakatiya University auditorium during late evening hours of Friday.
Tourism Minister A Chandulal inaugurated the festival. Generations have been inspired by history and the State government’s initiative to take up Mission Kakatiya is an example for that. He urged the short-film makers to focus on Kakatiya history.
Tourism Minister A Chandulal said the State government has been according importance to arts and culture promotion. In recent time short-films have gained importance and hence the government encouraging them.
Warangal MP P Dayakar, director Prabhakar Jain, jury member K L Prasad, the festival committee chairman T Ravi and others were present.
