Fire breaks out at hospital

Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed at Prime Hospital in Ameerpet, as blazes erupted from an unfinished lift of an under construction hospital building.

Prompt arrival of fire brigades had averted major loss, said the police.

According to the police, blaze erupted in a lift in an under construction building, where about 10 patients were present.

At 12 pm on Sunday, the fire that broke out in the lift located in the basement had spread till the second floor and some construction material stored in the floor was gutted.

Fire brigades from Sanathnagar fire station rushed within minutes and doused the fire.
