Platform ticket rate at Sec’bad doubled

The South Central Railway has doubled the rate of platform tickets at Secunderabad Railway Station for a period of 10 days. In view of the ensuing Sankranti festival, coinciding with the Sabarimala traffic, the SCR expects huge crowd on the platforms during the period at Secunderabad station.

In view of the ensuing Sankranti festival, coinciding with the Sabarimala traffic, the SCR expects huge crowd on the platforms during the period at Secunderabad station.
Therefore, with a view to regulating the flow of people who enter the platforms and avoid inconvenience to the travelling public by means of ensuring decongestion of platforms, the rate of platform ticket only at Secunderabad Railway Station has been hiked from present Rs 10 to Rs 20 for a period of seven days -from January 12-18.
