Telangana Jagruti holds rangoli competitions
The Telangana Jagruti conducted the Rangoli Competition for women at premises of the District Collectorate on Monday on the occasion of Makara Sankranti. Hundreds of women participated in the competition.
Nizamabad: The Telangana Jagruti conducted the Rangoli Competition for women at premises of the District Collectorate on Monday on the occasion of Makara Sankranti. Hundreds of women participated in the competition.
On the eve of Sankranti every year, Telangana Jagruti conducts the Rangoli competition to women. This year hundreds of women participated in this competitions. The Zilla Parishad Vice-chairperson Sumana Reddy, Mayor Sujatha and other team members of Telangana Jagruti selected the best rangolies.
District collector Yogita Rana, Mayor Sujata and Jagruti District president Lakshminarayana distributed prizes to the winners. In her speech, the District Collector said that these Rangolies reflected all the colours of nature, and were very popular among the Telugu people.
