Karimnagar: Basanth Nagar police on Saturday conducted raids on two stone quarrying offices near Jayyaram village, for operating stone crushing activities without taking valid permission and arrested two supervisors. They seized explosive material.
Around 500 gelatine sticks, four compressors, two bags of ammonia and two autorickshaws were seized. Quarry supervisors Dama Srinivas and Satroju were taken into custody. Bayyapur Surender Reddy and Ramana Reddy are the owners of the quarries.
