Hyderabad: Hindupur MLA and Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital Trust Chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna urged Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to regularise the constructions of the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital premises under Building Regularisation Scheme (BRS).

Balakrishna met KCR on Monday at latter’s camp office and explained about the services availed to the cancer patients in the hospital and requested the Chief Minister to regularise the constructions taken up in the Cancer Hospital premises.

Reacting positively, the Chief Minister said the Telangana State government would act liberally towards Cancer Hospital, which was extending services to the cancer patients with a service motto. KCR suggested Balakrishna to concentrate on providing facilities to the attendants coming along with the patients. He also advised Balakrishna to set up shelters for them to sleep in night and arrange bathrooms to change.

KCR made it clear that his government would extend full cooperation to the hospital authorities. He also said the government would see that all facilities could be established in all hospitals across the city. The Chief Minister revealed that he would conduct a meeting with owners of all the hospitals in this regard.
