Sumshodhini 16 to begin tomorrow
Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW) would be organising a national level three day technical symposium Sumshodhini 16 from January 21 to 23.
​Warangal: Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITS-W) would be organising a national-level three-day technical symposium ‘Sumshodhini-16’ from January 21 to 23.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, KITS-W Director Prof Y Manohar said that the technical fest would be conducted jointly under the aegis of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), (Warangal Chapter) and the KITS-W in coordination with all the departments.
The technical festival was aimed at providing a common platform for all the engineering and management students in the country to innovate, experience and showcase their technical skills and knowledge, Prof Manohar added.
The KITS Director said that workshops on ethical hacking, web designing, advanced surveying techniques, Math Lab, gesture robotics and vision robotics would be held. Events like technical papers, posters and ideas presentation, start-ups in India, women empowerment units, short film contest, group dance competition were being organised, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, programme convener Prof K Sridhar said that the event was open to all the engineering and management students in India. For registrations and further details, students could visit the website www. sumshodhini.org, he added.
