Huzurnagar Nagara Panchayat Chairman joins TRS
In an another jolt to the Congress party in the district, Chairman of Huzurnagar Nagara panchayath Jakkula Venkaiah joined the TRS in the presence of Minister G Jagadish Reddy in Nalgonda on Wednesday. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Power Minister Jagadish Reddy said that Venkaiah and two other Congress councillors joined the TRS to contribute their share in turning the State.
Nalgonda: In an another jolt to the Congress party in the district, Chairman of Huzurnagar Nagara panchayath Jakkula Venkaiah joined the TRS in the presence of Minister G Jagadish Reddy in Nalgonda on Wednesday. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Power Minister Jagadish Reddy said that Venkaiah and two other Congress councillors joined the TRS to contribute their share in turning the State in Bangaru Telangana.
Venkaiah said that there was no political interest behind shifting their loyalty to the TRS. “Our only aim is development of Huzurnagar,” he said. As Huzurnagar was a constituency from which TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy is representing, the new defection has become a centre of discussion in the political circles in the district.
