In accordance with the Agama Shastra rules, all the temples were closed in the district on Wednesday on account of the solar eclipse. In Nizamabad town the Neela Kanteshwara temple , Gole Hanuman temple and several other temples were closed by Tuesday evening  and opened on Wednesday morning. 

Nizamabad: In accordance with the Agama Shastra rules, all the temples were closed in the district on Wednesday on account of the solar eclipse. In Nizamabad town the Neela Kanteshwara temple, Gole Hanuman temple and several other temples were closed by Tuesday evening and opened on Wednesday morning.

Although the solar eclipse occurred on Wednesday morning, it began on Tuesday evening, according to the Hindu Panchangam. Due to the eclipse, various temples were closed from Tuesday evening in the town and at other places of the district and they were reopened on Wednesday after conclusion of the eclipse. The temples were cleaned and poojas were performed, according to the agama shastra traditions.
