Karimnagar: District Judge B Nagamaruthi Sarma said besides moving with humanity, youth should maintain cordial relationship with others. Untoward incidents were taking place only because of the youth who were being drawn towards attractions, he opined. He launched a programme ‘Project Prathigna” taken up jointly by the District Police Department and Jyothismathi Educational Institutions at Jyothismathi College at Nustulapur on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Friday.

He administered oath with students and released pamphlets and wall posters of project prathigna. Speaking on the occasion, the Judge asked the people to inform the police if anybody was moving under suspicious circumstances in their localities and advised the youth to go ahead with self-confidence and achieve goals.

Explained about the importance of the project, District Superintendent of Police D Joel Davis said with a view to educate women on women laws and take preventive measures, they have launched project prathigna. Chairman of Jyothismathi Educational Institutions Saga Rao, OSD L Subba Raidu, Additional SP T Annapurna, Trainee IPS officer Sindu Sarma, Karimnagar DSP J Rama Rao and Sub-Inspector, LMD Jagadish participated in the programme.
