Doctor held for molesting woman patient
A 27-year-old doctor of a private hospital in the city has been arrested by the police for allegedly drugging and molesting a woman patient while treating her. The accused, Dr D Venkatesh (27), is an employee of Alpha Hospital in Moghulpura. According to the police, the victim, a 27-year-old woman from Talabkatta visited the hospital for consultation.

The accused, Dr D Venkatesh (27), is an employee of Alpha Hospital in Moghulpura. According to the police, the victim, a 27-year-old woman from Talabkatta visited the hospital for consultation.
She had undergone a surgery and was suffering from post surgical pain when she visited the hospital on Monday night. The accused doctor, while treating her, allegedly drugged and molested her. The victim told the police that she was injected with some drug, after which she fell unconscious.
When she returned to consciousness, she realised that the doctor had molested her, said, Mohulpura inspector, A Devender. Following a complaint lodged by the victim’s husband, the police have arrested the accused and sent him to judicial remand.
