Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Hansraj Gangaram Ahir on Thursday said that Union government would reopen the Ramagundam Fertilizers plant within one month and that the government was investing more than 5,000 crores on this factory. Hansraj was the chief guest at the oath taking ceremony of newly-elected Nizamabad BJP president Pedolla Gangareddi held here at Munnurukapu Sangam.
Nizamabad: Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Hansraj Gangaram Ahir on Thursday said that Union government would reopen the Ramagundam Fertilizers plant within one month and that the government was investing more than 5,000 crores on this factory. Hansraj was the chief guest at the oath taking ceremony of newly-elected Nizamabad BJP president Pedolla Gangareddi held here at Munnurukapu Sangam.

Speaking on the occasion, he flayed MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi by saying that everyone born in India should say ‘Bharat Mataki Jai’. It is not related to any religion, but it is related to nationalism, he added. The Minister said that Asauddin’s comments were against national respect, ‘Bharat Mataki Jai’ is not related to any religion, but it is related to patriotism.
He said famous lyricist Javed Akhtar’s comments were a befitting reply to Asaduddin’s remarks. Hansraj said that Union government accorded priority to agriculture to prevent farmer suicides. The Centre has increased Budget allocations to irrigation, power and agriculture allied sectors, he said.
He alleged that Telangana government was neglecting the agriculture sector and reneged on the promise to reopen NSF and NCSF sugar factories due to which thousands of farmers gave up sugarcane farming. The Minister urged the State government to immediately take steps to reopen the sugar factories in Nizamabad district. He promised that the Centre will establish Turmeric Research Institute in Nizamabad district which would help the farmers in Telangana districts.
