TSRTC bags prestigious honours
The Telengana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bagged two prestigious awards during the annual general body meeting of the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) on Tuesday. In an event celebrating the ‘ASRTU Productivity Awards’, which was held in Bengalurur, the awards were received by the Joint Managing Director of TSRTC, GV Ramana Rao.
The Telengana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bagged two prestigious awards during the annual general body meeting of the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) on Tuesday. In an event celebrating the ‘ASRTU Productivity Awards’, which was held in Bengalurur, the awards were received by the Joint Managing Director of TSRTC, GV Ramana Rao.
The President of ASRTU Rajender Kumar Kattaria along with Vice-president Pankaj Kumar and joint secretary Abhay Damle presented the award. This is the first time that the TSRTC bagged the awards after the formation of the State. TSRTC won two prestigious ASRTU Productivity Awards for conservation of Fuel for the year 2014-15.
The honour comes for achieving 5.46 kmpl under ‘Highest KMPL’ category in fuel efficiency in mofussil services among the STLJs having fleet strength range 4001-10000. TSRTC also bagged runner—up award for improvement of fuel kmpl from 5.41 to 5.46 for maximum improvement in kmpl in ‘Fuel Efficiency’ for the year 2014-15 in mofussil services.
Joint Managing Director GV Ramana Rao congratulated all the employees of the organisation and appreciated their commitment and services for it.
