Ponguleti slams KCR for carping at Congress
Congress senior leader and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Friday lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s usual criticism against Congress party in his Power Point Presentation in the Assembly on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Friday lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s usual criticism against Congress party in his Power Point Presentation in the Assembly on Thursday. He also made it clear that the projects mentioned by the latter were taken up during previous Congress regime only.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Sudhakar Reddy said, supplying irrigation water to one crore acres would be possible with the projects taken up by the pervious Congress government. Expressing doubts on KCR, he said the Telangana CM, who found fault with the Pattiseema Project earlier, was now supporting it.
Demanding KCR’s answer on the developments on ‘Vote for Note’ case, the MLC said it was not appropriate for KCR to make allegations against former Chief Minister late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. “It is sad on the part of KCR, who was not responding to severe drought conditions in the State, though the High Court censured KCR on drought,” he said.
