Hyderabad: TDP Telangana unit working president A Revanth Reddy faces a new problem from his erstwhile colleague Errabelli Dayakar Rao who is now trying to poach some important leaders from TDP.The leaders who are under the radar of TRS are R Chandrasekhar Reddy, E Peddi Reddy, K Dayakar Reddy, Revuri Prakash Reddy etc. These leaders are considered to be hardcore TDP leaders.

Party sources said that Rao has been in touch with all these senior leaders who are considered to be having hold in their respective districts. It is learnt that the leaders have been promised with posts and also seats in the next general elections. Dayakar Rao even assured the TTDP leaders that if they give their nod, he would arrange a meeting with the TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao.

Taken aback by this move of Dayakar Rao, TTDP working president A Revanth Reddy swung into action to prevent further damage to his party from migrations. The TDP working president held meeting with his party men and assured them of revival of their political fortunes in the coming days. The leaders also informed Revanth about the allurements they were offered if they switched loyalties to the TRS.

Sensing mass exodus would be a big blow for the party, Revanth brought to the notice of TDP national committee president N Chandrababu Naidu about his rival’s conspiracy to weaken the TDP by poaching the party leaders. Naidu also spoke to the leaders and prevented them from leaving the party.

To instill confidence among the party workers and leaders who were demoralised after the mass migration of TDP leaders and MLAs to TRS, the party working president had already decided to conduct visits to all districts from April second week.
