The temple is being spruced up for the celestial fete. Pandals were being erected at Mithila Stadium, the venue of the divine wedding, and temporary roofs for the queue lines to provide cool comfort to devotees witnessing the fete in the hot summer. The dais will be colourfully decorated for the grand occasion. Chitrakuta Mandapam is also being decked up.

District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar directed the temple officials to make foolproof arrangements for the festival. He asked the officials of various departments to work with coordination in making the arrangements for Sri Rama Navami and ensure that pilgrims visiting the temple during the annual festival do not face any inconvenience.

Speaking to The Hans India, Sri Rama temple Executive Officer K Jyothi said: ‘The annual Brahmotsavams will be held from April 8 to 21. The important events include Ankurarpana on April 11, Dhwajarohanam on April 13, Sri Rama Navami on April 15, Sri Rama Pattabhishekam on April 16, Teppotsavam on April 18, Unjal Seva on April 19, Vasanthotsavam on April 20 and Chakra Teertham on April 21.’
