New Congress urban wing formed
The Congress will continue its fight against the TRS government for its anti-people policies, DCC president N Rajender Reddy said. Addressing a press conference at the Congress Bhavan here on Saturday, Reddy criticised the State government for not fulfilling its poll promises like three acre land to dalits, KG to PG and double bedroom to poor.

“K Chandrashekar Rao-led government is hoodwinking people by promising moon,” Reddy alleged, threatening to mobilise a people’s movement against the rulers. Meanwhile, the Congress has appointed former NSUI district president Katla Srinivas Rao as the urban president and Youth wing leader Rajanala Srihari as the urban working president.
While Srinivas Rao has come in place of Tadisetty Vidyasagar, who switched to TRS, Rajanala takes up the newly-created post of working president.
