He explained the exam pattern to the media at a press meet held at the Collectorate meeting hall here on Friday.

He said the TET will have two papers; paper-1 will be conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm at 31 centers in the district headquarters only. About 7,102 aspirants will appear for the exam. Meanwhile, paper -2 will be conducted at 112 centers in Kodad town, besides Nalgonda, Suryapet, Miryalaguda, Bhongir and Devarakonda revenue divisional headquarters.

The exam will be conducted from 2.30pm to 5 pm for which 26,714 aspirants will appear. Except educational department, the staff of all other departments was allotted various duties like exam coordinators, chief superintendents, squads, invigilators etc to conduct the exam smoothly.

The Collector told both the officials and the TET aspirants not to bring any electronic gadgets to exam centres and follow the instructions and directions related to the examination without fail to avoid inconvenience during the exam. Explaining about other arrangements made for the convenience of the students, he said help desks would be established at bus stands in the towns where exam would be conducting.

About 2,500 government employees were pressed into service while 300 police personnel were deployed at the examination centres for security purpose. Informing that the students will not be allowed into the exam centre once the test commences, he advised them to come to the exam centre one hour prior to the exam time.

Additional Joint Collector S Venkat Rao, DEO Chandra Mohan and RDO Venkata Chary were present during the press meet.
