According to highly-placed sources, KCR will in fact make a detailed presentation about how he proposes to transform the state and make it most progressive one. It is learnt that besides listing out the welfare and development schemes being implemented in the state for the last two years, KCR’s address would focus on making Telangana self-sustained, industrially developed and a centre of skilled force in the country.

Initiatives like attracting huge investments through TS –iPASS and IT incubations centres, taken up by the government are already yielding results. In the welfare and development sector, many schemes like Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiradha and two-bedroom scheme have been launched to bring a social and economical transformation in a big way.

Now, the Chief Minister wants to take forward the developmental activities and ensure that the benefits reach the deserved at a fast pace. To realise his cherished dream of ‘Golden Telangana’, KCR would present a detailed road map in the areas of education, health and infrastructure, a top official in the Secretariat told The Hans India.

The Chief Minister would also explain the necessity of fast-paced reforms in welfare and development sector. “KCR is preparing his speech with the consultation of top officials and also experts in different fields,” the official said.

Buoyed by the election victories during last one year, the official said that KCR was planning to make a slew of announcements which would include waiver of third installment loans taken by farmers, government jobs, skill development schemes for all educated youth and self-employed schemes for all the unemployed.

KCR had already instructed all department heads to submit in detail the schemes under implementation and the need to achieve targets on a mission mode, the official said. “Based on the reports, KCR would make a few announcements with regard to the promotion of agriculture, horticulture and special attention on irrigation, rural development and social welfare,” he said. This year the government is organising the Telangana State formation day celebrations in a big way.
