​Hyderabad: Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh was summoned by Bollaram police on Wednesday in relation to an assault case on police personnel in December 2015.

MLA Raja Singh, who had been to Bollaram festival during the beef festival row in Hyderabad had manhandled a police constable and also abused the police personnel. The police had them booked a case (105/2015) under section 353 (assault on a public servant) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

On Wednesday, the police summoned the MLA asking him to appear for questioning within three days from receipt of the notice and asked him to follow certain conditions.

“You should cooperate for proper investigation, should not attempt to tamper the evidence, make any inducement, threat or promise who is acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them for disclosing facts to the court or to the investigator,” Bollaram Inspector G Jagan stated in the summons sent to MLA Raja Singh.

Meanwhile, MLA Raja Singh was detained by the Bollaram police on Wednesday, when he staged a road block in front of Dhoolpet Prohibition and Excise Police Station, demanding the State government to immediately rehabilitate the people of Dhoolpet.
