Complete Pushkaram works in time: Collector
District Collector P Satyanarayana Reddy directed the official concerned to complete the construction works of Pushkar ghats as per schedule, without fail.
Nalgonda: District Collector P Satyanarayana Reddy directed the official concerned to complete the construction works of Pushkar ghats as per schedule, without fail.
He held a review meeting at the collectorate here on Saturday, regarding Krishna Pushkarams, which will commence in the third week of August.
Since the State government planning to conduct Krishna Pushkarams on par with Godavari Pushkarams, he warned the contractors that their names would be put in black list if they fail to complete the works in time.
The Collector told the officials to submit day-to-day report of Pushkaram works in the form of photos through Whats App. Negligence of duties will not be tolerated at any cost and stern action would be taken against such officials, he added.
Joint Collector Satyanarayana, Additional Joint Collector Venkat Rao, DRDA PD Anjaiah, DWMA PD Damodar Reddy and other officials were present in the review meeting.
