Heavy rain forecast for Telangana, today
The Meteorological office warned of heavy rains lashing all the districts of Telangana on June 19, with the South-west Monsoon further advancing into some more parts of the State. The monsoon has already covered Nalgonda, Khammam and some parts of Hyderabad and Warangal districts.

Conditions are favourable for further advancing of the monsoon into the remaining parts of the State during the next 48 hours. A bulletin issued by the weather office says the trough from Odisha to south Tamil Nadu across coastal Andhra Pradesh is persisting. The upper air cyclonic circulation over Odisha and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal now lies over south coastal Odisha and its neighbourhood.
As a result, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in the State from June 19 to 22. There will be no major change in the weather outlook during the subsequent three days.
