Hyderabad: Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Saturday, with Sirpur in Adilabad district recording two cm of rainfall, even as the low pressure area over the north-west Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal persists.

There was one cm each of rain in Mancherial, Kunavaram, Kampasagar, Koida, Ramgundam, Asifabad and Aswaraopet. The forecast said that as the associated upper air cyclonic circulation and the trough from Odisha to south Tamil Nadu across coastal Andhra Pradesh are persisting, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Telangana from July 3 to 6.

There will be no major change in the weather outlook for the subsequent three days. In the last 24 hours Nalgonda recorded the day’s highest maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Hyderabad, Khammam, Mahbubnagar 31 each, Ramagundam 30, Adilabad, Hakimpet, Nizamabad 29 each, Medak 28 and Bhadrachalam 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
