Hyderabad: Leader of Opposition in Telangana State Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir exhorted Muslims to wage a war against terrorism across the world. Delivering a special address before Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Kamareddy Idgah on Thursday, Shabbir Ali said that conspiracies were being hatched to defame Islam and Muslims across the world.

He said that terrorists have even attacked the holy city of Medina, which is the abode of peace since 1,400 years. "By triggering a bomb blast near Masjid-e-Nabawi, the mosque of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), in holy Medina, terrorists have invited the wrath of not only common Muslims but also the Almighty Allah. Those involved or connected with terror attack in holy Medina and other places are certainly not Muslims. Soon the world will see their end," he said.

Shabbir Ali also appealed to the Muslims to stay cautious against the evil designs of some terror outfits who are trying to defame Islam using violence. He described Eid-ul-Fitr as a Payment Day for all Muslims who offered Namaz, observed Roza and paid Zakat and charity throughout the holy month of Ramzan. He said that the same spirit of submitting one's will to Allah should be exhibited throughout the year. After prayers, many people met Shabbir Ali at the Idgah and extended their greetings. The noted Hindu scholar Krishna Swamy was also one of them.
