NIA quizzes one more in IS suspects case
A young man from Madannapet was picked up by officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday.
​Hyderabad: A young man from Madannapet was picked up by officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday.
The man identified as Mohammed (name changed), a resident of Edi Bazaar under the Madannapet police station limits, was picked up by a NIA team from his house on Friday afternoon and taken to the NIA office at Begumpet for questioning.
The NIA officials informed him that while investigating the five terror-accused persons who were arrested from the Old City on charges of conspiring to carry out attacks in the city, they found out that one of the SIM cards being used by the accused was in his name.
He was taken to the office to record his statement as a witness and also to find out his relation with the arrested persons. After questioning, he was set free, the NIA officials said.
