Dammakka Seva yatra conducted

Bhadrachalam: Tribals in Agency areas of the district on Tuesday had a holy drip in River Godavari and offered prayers to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita at the shrine here on the occasion of Dammakka Seva Yatra.
ITDA project officer Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu and temple executive officer T Ramesh Babu commenced the yatra after offering special pujas to Pokala Dammakka.
Participating in the yatra, the tribals chanted Jai Sriram and offered various flowers and fruits to the deities. A ‘Giri Pradakshina’ was taken out with the images of Sabari and Pokala Dammakka.
The tribals who took part in the seva yatra later witnessed the celestial wedding of Lord Sri Rama with Goddess Sita.
