Contempt case against Junior Civil Judge
A two-judge Bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice Ms Anis on Wednesday issued a contempt notice against S Ramakrishna, a junior civil judge under suspension for making allegations against a judge of the High Court at Hyderabad and against whole judicial system in a press conference.
​Hyderabad: A two-judge Bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice Ms Anis on Wednesday issued a contempt notice against S Ramakrishna, a junior civil judge under suspension for making allegations against a judge of the High Court at Hyderabad and against whole judicial system in a press conference. The bench took suo moto cognizance on a letter written by President of AP High Court Advocates Association C Nageswara Rao.
A video clipping of the press conference was uploaded on the social media through YouTube. Senior counsel CV Mohan Reddy informed the Bench that the junior civil judge had called for another press conference on July 21 at Guntur.
The bench directed the junior judge not to hold any such press conferences and directed him to be present on July 22 to explain as to why contempt proceedings should not be initiated against him.
