Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, along with his family, would take a bath at Gondimalla Pushkar Ghat at 5.58 am on Friday, the first day of the 12-day Krishna Pushkaralu.

The Chief Minister reviewed the arrangements for Krishna Pushkaralu at his official residence here on Wednesday. He will reach Alampur on Thursday evening and stay at Harita Guest House. After taking bath, the Chief Minister will have darshan of Jogulamba Ammavaru and then proceed towards

Hyderabad. The Chief Minister directed the officials to release water since the storage in many reservoirs has gone up because of the
recent rains. He expressed satisfaction over enough water flowing across the River Krishna right from Mahbubnagar district to Nalgonda district.

He also expressed satisfaction over the arrangements near 81 Pushkar ghats. Ministers A Indrakaran Reddy, G Jagadish Reddy, Jogu Ramanna, T Srinivas Yadav, K T Rama Rao, MP B Suman, MLC Srinivas Reddy and others were also present. Earlier, Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy formally invited Governor E S L Narasimhan and K Chandrashekar Rao for Pushkaralu.
