Fire dept ignores I-Day

​Parigi (Ranga Reddy): All establishments, government and private, celebrated 70th Independence Day on Monday, except the Fire department.

While, the tricolor fluttered atop several government office buildings, there was no sign of it on Fire Department office building.

In spite of Tahsildar Devja Naik issuing orders three days ago asking all government departments to celebrate the occasion, the Fire department officials did not comply with them for reasons best known to them.

Stern action against the fire department was demanded for not complying with them that too on an important occasion like this.
