Ministers take aerial survey of Pushkar ghats
Ministers A Indrakaran Reddy, Dr Laxma Reddy and Jupalli Krishna Rao, along with MP Jithender Reddy undertook an aerial survey of the Krishna Pushakaralu ghats in the district on Monday.

They saw the ghats at Beechupalli, Rangapur and Somasila. The Ministers interacted with devotees to know their assessment of the facilities made available at the ghats.
They inspected the nearby medical camps. Legislators Srinivas Goud and Kasireddy Narayan Reddy accompanied the Ministers. Indrakaran Reddy later told the press persons that all arrangements have been made so as not to cause any inconvenience to the devotees.
There was a rush at the ghats as Monday was a holiday. Officials said 5.29 lakh pilgrims had holy dip at the pushakar ghats. While 3.1 lakh bathed at Beechupalli, 90,000 took bath at Gondimalla, 75,000 at Rangapur and 50,000 at Somasila.
