Rajender on Wednesday recalled that members belonging to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Parliament had supported the Bill and noted that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had assured Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who recently addressed a public meeting at Gajwel, of the state’s backing to the GST.
