In order to clear the extra rush of passengers attending Velankanni festival, the South Central Railway (SCR) would be running four special trains between Secunderabad-Velankanni and Velankanni-Tirupati.
​Hyderabad: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers attending Velankanni festival, the South Central Railway (SCR) would be running four special trains between Secunderabad-Velankanni and Velankanni-Tirupati.
Secunderabad-Velankanni- Secunderabad Special Train (02 Services): Train No. 07060 Secunderabad -Velankanni special train will depart Secunderabad at 08:50 am on September 5 (Monday) and arrive Velankanni at 08:45 am on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07059 Velankanni - Secunderabad special train will depart Velankanni at 6:45 pm on September 8 (Thursday) and arrive at Secunderabad at 8:00 pm on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tiruttani, Arakkonam, Kanchipuram, Chengalpatu, Villupuram, Sirkazhi, Myiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam stations.
These special trains will consist of 15 coaches viz., one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, 10 Sleeper Class and Two Luggage-cum-Brake van Coaches. Velankanni-Tirupati- Velankanni Special Train (02 Services): Train No. 07062 Velankanni-Tirupati special train will depart Velankanni at 3:00 pm on September 6 (Tuesday) and arrive Tirupati at 03:30 am on the next day.
