Hyderabad: The Met department bulletin on Tuesday said light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana from September 7 to 10.

  • Associated upper air cyclonic circulation and trough from Odisha to south TN and across coastal AP

According to the Met bulletin, the low pressure area over the Gangetic West Bengal and its neighbourhood now lies over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh. The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level and tilts southwards with height. The trough from Odisha to south Tamil Nadu and across coastal Andhra Pradesh is persisting, the Met department bulletin said. With no rain so far this week, the day temperatures remained steady.
Hanamkonda, Khammam and Nalgonda recorded the highest maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius. The temperatures recorded elsewhere in the State were: Adilabad 32 degrees Celsius, Bhadrachalam 32, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad and Ramagundam 31, and Hakimpet 29 degrees Celsius.
