Yadagirigutta: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s special attention towards development of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on a par with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is set to start from Dasara with the blue-print of the new shrine being released already.
Temple architect Anand Sai and project manager Ravi elaborated on the plans of constructing the newly-designed shrine over an extent of 2.34 acre land. According to them, the entire construction work would be done only by using black granite stone.
In addition to four Rajagopurams on all four sides of the temple, a couple of Tritalagopurams would be constructed. The Rajagopuram on the Western side of the temple would have a height of 77 feet whereas the other gopurams would be of 55 feet each. Architectural advisor Sunderrajan Velu said that Ashtabhuja mandapams would be constructed on all four sides of the temple.
Each mandapam would have all the 32 forms of the Lord. Deities of 12 Alwars with 6-ft height each would also be unveiled for the darshan of the people, he added. Yadagirigutta Development Authority (YADA) vice-chairman Kishan Rao said that the temple, including the sanctum sanctorum and the surrounding constructions, would be a visual feast to the devotees and all the credit must go to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his determination and undaunted efforts in developing the temple town on a par with the TTD.
