New Delhi: State government presented three concepts at the "Tableau Meeting" held by the Defence authorities here on Friday including “Bathukamma." The other two were 'Medaram' and 'Perini.’ The meeting is held to decide the Tableaux selection for the Republic Day parade. State government's efforts to promote 'Bathukamma’ in the past failed as the concept was rejected.
However, the selection committee on Friday asked I & PR Deputy Director Bhaskar and artiste Ramana Reddy who explained the concept to them to submit their audio-visual documentation of the proposed theme for further discussions. The second meeting will be held on October 5.
