Damaged stretch claims man's life in Hyderabad

A 33-year-old man was killed in a road accident in the wee hours of Sunday at Santoshnagar.

The deceased identified as Harikrishna was riding his bike along with his friend and in an attempt to avoid a damage stretch on the road, he lost control and hit a divider.

He suffered head injury and died on the spot while his friend, Balakrishna suffered injuries.

The incident took place at the junction near DRDL in front of Mytri Wines.

This is a third incident of the same kind taking place in the city since September. The police have registered a case of accidental death and causing injuries. Locals stated that the damaged stretch was repaired few weeks back but returned to its old state due to poor quality of work.
