Hyderabad: The unique two-day training programme ‘Vaktha’ jointly organised by HMTV and Kaushalya School of Life Skills successfully crossed a milestone as 50th batch was rolled out on Sunday.
Marking its Golden Jubilee celebration, the participants described it as a ‘must attend’ training programme for developing ‘good communication skills’ that are necessary to face huge audiences, without any fear or hesitation.
Chairman of Kapil Group K Vaman Rao distributed the participation certificates to the men and women who had come from across the two Telugu States to hone their communication skills and become good orators.
Speaking on the occasion, Director (Training) Kapil Group and the lead faculty of the programme D Bal Reddy recalled how an idea to help others towards becoming a leader, transformed into a training programme with great success.
During the course of its journey from its first batch, the Vaktha has been described by its participants as ‘turning point’, ‘life changer’, and ‘positive energy booster’. The programme which helps in ‘shedding inhibitions’ and ‘breaks the shackles of nervousness’ has become a ‘launching pad for high flyers’. The programme has so far transformed the lives of about 1,500 people and has turned most of them into confident and successful communicators.
Earlier during the day, Bal Reddy gave important tips and techniques related to public speaking. He asked the participants to regularly practice what they had learnt during the two-day training sessions. S Anand Parjanya, faculty on body language trained the participants on maintaining their posture while delivering a speech and communicating at a public place.
He explained as to how an orator should communicate the subject with the coordinating actions of hands. K Srikanth, another faculty explained the important techniques of voice modulation, and said a good speaker should maintain a high tone while delivering the speech. He made students practice some of the important tips and showed how voice culture and modulation can make a person an effective public speaker.
While giving their feedback, K Lingamurthy, a businessman from Warangal, found the training sessions as a ‘must attend’ for everyone who believes in reaching heights in their professions.
He felt that the confidence levels of everyone who attends would surely raise and reflect in his or her life. M Vishnu Mudiraj from Sangareddy found a huge difference before and after attending the training. M Thulasi Raj, another participant described the programme as ‘well designed and executed’.
