Hyderabad: Reacting to a protest Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) Chairman Purna Chandra Rao claimed that the recent recruitment of police constables was done in a totally transparent manner and there were no irregularities.
The TSLPRB chief was reacting to the allegations made by a group of more than 100 candidates who staged a protest before the State Police Headquarters at Lakdi-ka-pul on Monday. The protestors alleged that instead of promised 33%, only 10% posts were reserved for women candidates.
Some candidates alleged that those who secured less marks got the job while those who scored high marks were rejected.
Addressing a press conference later, the TSLPRB Chairman denied all the allegations. He said that the cut-off marks and other details would be placed on TSLPRB website soon.
