Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao made a surprise visit and inspectedthe construction of footpaths from Ponnala to Siddipet old bus stand onFriday evening, covering almost a distance of three km on foot.
Siddipet: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao made a surprise visit and inspectedthe construction of footpaths from Ponnala to Siddipet old bus stand onFriday evening, covering almost a distance of three km on foot.
The Minister expressed his displeasure over the lack of quality and faulty works being undertaken to construct footpaths and took the officials of the Roads &Buildings to task.
He ordered the officials to complete the works within a week also by ensuring high quality. He told them that he would personally inspect the works once again.
He also inspected the trees that were planted on either side of the footpath and asked the Municipal Commissioner to ensure no inconvenience was caused to the people while making constructions near the culverts.
