Woman loses younger brother on Raksha Bandhan

In a tragic accident that took place on the day of Raksha Bandhan, a woman lost her younger brother in Sathupally mandal of Khammam district on Monday.

The deceased, K Vinodchari was working in a private firm in Hyderabad. He met up with his old friend Mallishetty Himakiran on the occasion of Friendship Day and were on their way to Bethupally lake in a car.

But the driver lost control of the car and the vehicle fell into the lake. While the passerby rushed to their rescue and managed to get them out alive, Vinodchari, in a bid to grab his cellphone, let-go the hand of the rescuer. He slipped into the water and drowned.

After his body was recovered, Vinodchari's sister - Sirisha broke down on seeing his body and even tied a Rakhi to his hand as the family members were inconsalable.
