South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav made a visit of Aurangabad Railway Station on Thursday.
Hyderabad : South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav made a visit of Aurangabad Railway Station on Thursday.
He undertook inspection of the Railway Station covering the entire station premises, platforms and reviewed plans for development. He was accompanied by Shri A.K.Sinha, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Nanded Division and other Officials of the Division. Aurangabad MP Chandrakant Bhaurao Khaire also met General Manager and discussed on various rail developmental works in his jurisdiction. He informed General Manager about the public demand for more passenger amenities, stoppage of trains, introduction of trains etc. The MP also sought completion of Road Under Bridge (RUB) at Aurangabad. He also discussed on doubling works with electrification between Manmad and Parbhani and development of Chikalthan Station.
The General Manager assured that the issues will be looked into and action taken accordingly. Later, the General Manager interacted with officers, supervisory staff and trackmen of Aurangabad section and enquired about safety related matters, working procedures and grievances. State Govt. Officials of Maharashtra discussed on rail related pending works and issues with General Manager.
Vinod Kumar Yadav interacted with media at Aurangabad Railway Station and informed that railway is giving priority for Safety and Punctuality. He also informed that by end of next financial year, all the Un Manned Level Crossings (UMLCs) will be eliminated over the Zone. He stated that welfare of the employees will be given priority in solving their grievances and in health care. Later, the General Manager inspected Chikalthan station and reviewed the plans of construction of pit line and development of station.
