The trough from south Chhattisgarh to east-central Arabian Sea across Telangana State and north interior Karnataka at 1.5 km above the mean sea level has become less marked.

According to the bulletin, the Southwest monsoon has further withdrawn from remaining parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State. The Meteorological conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of the monsoon during the next 24 hours and commencement of the Northeast monsoon rain over the southern peninsular India around October 26.

During the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday, the Southwest Monsoon was normal over the State. Isolated rain, covering 25 per cent of the area, with thunderstorms and lightning occurred across the State.

The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Hayathnagar (Rangareddy) 5, Gandeed (Rangareddy), Ramannapeta (Nalgonda), Manchal (Ranga Reddy), Thimmajipet, Maddur, Damaragidda (all in Mahbubnagar), Maheswaram (Rangareddy) 3 each.

According to the forecast, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places across the State from October 25 to 28. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
